A leader in theatre & music education, Wolf Performing Art Center's Private Lessons combine professional teacher expertise with a customized plan for your rising performer. Private Lessons at Wolf PAC help students gain confidence, reach personal goals, and enhance performance skills.
Ages, Levels & Abilities
Wolf PAC welcomes students from 1st-12th grade and adults of all experience levels. Lessons are one-on-one, so it allows professional instructors to create a personalized curriculum, specialized to each individual student to best fit their needs, goals, and interests.
Lessons occur on a rolling basis, so students can join any time. Wolf PAC recommends signing up before the start of a session for best availability; however, students are welcomed any time that is convenient for them. Students can take multiple types of lessons, either back-to-back or at different times. There is also an option for longer combination lessons such as Piano/Singing, Singing/Dancing, etc.
Have a child with multiple interests and a busy schedule? Wolf PAC has flexible hours after school between 3:00 - 8:30 pm and on weekends.
Goals
Every student has different goals, so goals are set individually. One student may want to become a better musical theatre singer, another may want to become a great tap dancer, and another student may want to learn how to embody a character as an actor, and the list goes on! Ultimately, lessons are personalized and goals are communicated between the student and teacher in order for each lesson to help build confidence, gain technique, and strengthen theatrical skills.
Instructors
Wolf PAC Professional Instructors have a variety of theatre degrees and experience in their field as teachers and performers.
Skill Building
Lessons help strengthen the skills used in rehearsals, and give students time to practice any areas that are challenging for them. They serve as a wonderful compliment to other programming by allowing students the opportunity to take a deeper dive into their interests.
Recitals
Private Lesson recitals take place twice a year - in May and December. Recitals are optional for students, although Wolf PAC encourages participation so students can share their pieces with the community, and practice the art of performance. Students work with their teachers to choose a song, monologue, instrument, or dance piece to share with family and friends. Recitals are celebratory, and the perfect way to help students gain confidence and allow them to share skills learned.
