Radnor Memorial Library is the community's destination for discovery and engagement, a home for cultural and intellectual enrichment and learning. Our mission is to provide programs, collections, space, and other resources that enhance the quality of life for the entire community. Our popular programs support literacy in the community and leisure reading for all ages. We offer a diverse collection of a variety of physical and digital resources and materials to borrow, including movies, music, magazines, learning kits, museum passes, lawn games, small electronics and tools. The selection is always growing to meet the needs of our community. The Radnor Library also partners with many area organizations to provide outreach and expand programming content; partnerships include Radnor Township School District, Radnor Historical Society, Main Point Books, Radnor Conservancy, and many local businesses. Radnor Memorial Library’s aim is to encourage creative play in an age-appropriate environment and equip caregivers with child development resources. Visitors to the Radnor Memorial Library can spend time enjoying our Family Place play area, stocked with toys, puzzles, and baby books while browsing our Parenting books and other materials. We offer an annual Parent-Child Workshop as well as regular weekly storytimes for ages birth to 5 years. We provide early childhood support in equipping parents as they get their child ready for Kindergarten as well as throughout their child's school career. Radnor Memorial Library has become a community destination for play and parenting support because of our emphasis on early literacy and early childhood development in all our interactions and program design. We are fortunate enough to be able to partner with community resources that have inspired connections for many families with young children in the Radnor area.
