Children's Poetry Theater began as a home-based creative learning center located in Lower Merion in January 2024. By March 2025, Children's Poetry Theater relocated to downtown Narberth. Specializing in introducing children to poetry through play, art-making, drama and joy, Children's Poetry Theater hosts events and classes for children and adults, and travels to schools and organizations to present customized workshops for ages 4-14.
Classes
Journey through literary classics and discover what it means to be undaunted. Create community as we enjoy poetry together. Children's Poetry Theater offer weekly, semester-long poetry + oratory courses to young learners, plus some poetry courses for adults!
Camps
Discover or write delightful poems. Put them to memory through play & games, then fashion a fabulous performance for family & friends by the end of each week! Children's Poetry Theater creates magical day camps for kids during the summer and over some holidays.
Workshops
Children's Poetry Theater runs interactive poetry + performance workshops at schools & in other group settings for ages 4-14.
