Sky Soup Art Center offers art education that is creative, enriching, nurturing, and fun! A child-centered studio is a place where people can communicate visually in various media. Children can choose from ongoing art classes, art camps over spring & summer break, weekend workshops, and art birthday parties.
The mission of the Center is to provide a place to explore art-making with a wide range of materials. We are interested in the process over product. Projects are designed around a theme and are age-appropriate. Children learn many art lessons. These lessons include: all problems have more than one solution, each person interprets the world differently, slight differences have significant effects, and judgment rather than rules prevail. Art-making helps children grow their visual voice joyfully as they find the unanticipated possibilities of their expression as their work develops.
