Every child is a star ... some just don't know it yet. 

Based in Malvern, Pennsylvania, Schmata Productions is an award winning, non-profit, community youth theater group run entirely by volunteers. Our school year musical theater program is open to students in 5th through 12th grades. 2023 will be our 14th season!

We also have an excellent summer program. Summer Experience is definitely NOT your traditional summer camp. Ages 5-16 are invited to join us for art, theater, magic and more during Summer Experience. Leader in Training positions are also available for ages 15-18.

Schmata Productions is an award winning, non-profit, community youth theatre committed to fostering communication, problem-solving, and self-confidence in today's youth. We are an inclusive group that works with youth from many different schools, religions, ethnic backgrounds, abilities, & more. We strive for a family feeling; helping our students learn patience & tolerance, teaching acceptance of all, & guiding our older students to mentor the younger ones. These are just a few of the things that make our group different from many others!

We are grateful to the Beth Chaim Reform Congregation for providing rehearsal and Summer Experience space. as well as welcoming all of our students regardless of religion, school district, or ability to pay.
