Upbeat Dance Center, founded twelve years ago, provides our community with the highest quality dance instruction. We strive for the best in technique, expression, strength, creativity, and passion all while providing a fun and safe atmosphere. We at Upbeat hope to inspire our youth. We hope to make the art of dance a lifelong practice!!!!!
The teachers at Upbeat are ONLY professionally trained, certified instructors whose energy and talent are quite contagious. Our lessons are designed to build the students' confidence and self-discipline in a comfortable, warm, encouraging setting. Our teachers create through their hearts and are guided by their knowledge. We present all of our hard work in an annual recital in late Spring.
Upbeat features two award-winning competition companies supported by award-winning teachers and choreographers. These groups of dancers are devoted and talented dancers and have made dance their priority. They take at least four technique classes a week in addition to weekend rehearsals. Auditions this year are in late August or call Lauren. Most competitions are in the late Winter and Spring and stay within an hour and a half from our studio. We are always looking for new talent and dancers who work well together. Positivity is a must for all members. Life-long friendships are what we hope to activate.
