Dance has been at the core of human civilization for centuries. Whether it is celebrated as part of a culture, or simply something done for pure enjoyment, there is a wonderful feeling that one gets from the art of movement.
Our mission at Emily Rose Dance Creations is to provide students of all levels with more than just dance classes, but a unique environment in which students can grow both mentally and physically as dancers.
As a dancer, choreographer, and teacher, I am devoted to sharing my passion, energy, and dedication to this art form with my students. I constantly reinvigorate my excitement of dance to my students each class, reminding them of the joy dance brings onto those who perform, watch, and/or teach it, including myself. I strive to create an environment for my students that is welcoming and respectful, as it is open to people of all experience levels and allows room for both mistakes and improvement. I firmly believe that there are always areas that are in need of refinement, as dancers should always strive for perfection.
With eighteen years of dance experience, I have trained in ballet, Pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, contemporary, and hip hop. I have been educating dancers for seven years now, and I love it more and more each day. I teach all genres for all ages.
Teaching dance gives me the opportunity to nurture and guide our youth with an art form that I love dearly. Their dance success eventually becomes my success. Teaching also assists in connecting me to the future of my students, as the bond between a dance teacher and students can last a lifetime, long after the completion of our time in the studio together. Becoming a mentor for my students is a main priority of my mission as a dance teacher, as I thoroughly enjoy passing down my experience to those who possess the same passion, energy, and dedication as me.
