Our Mission: At ABC Lab School, we strive to develop the “whole child” so that the children are fully blossoming physically, emotionally, intellectually, mentally, and spiritually. We endeavor to create a safe, pleasant and enriching experience for children to play, explore, grow and learn. We believe that each child is unique, and the unleashed potential can be stimulated and nurtured by caring educational professionals. An atmosphere that promotes a sense of belonging, mutual affection, respect and trust is the nurturing ground for our ABC Lab School growing into their full potentials.
Our Vision: ABC Lab School sees a diverse community for our next generation and we want to be part of the effort to encourage our children to discover the larger world around them and embrace the variety of culture, language and heritage. Our child-centered classrooms, under careful teacher guidance, allow children to explore at their own pace, build a solid foundation for their future education, and grow a passion for learning.
Our Curriculum
Our STEAM Challenge curriculum expands over all five major categories, science, technology, engineering, art, and math, and infuses them together to create hundreds of hands on and engaging activities and games covering seasonal, cultural, historical, social, and many other topics we encounter every day. We strive to facilitate the precious aptitude of each child and help our children to grow into wholesome, independent, and happy citizens.
Our Chinese Enrichment Program provides children the opportunity to learn a second language at a young age. Our daily authentic activities carefully designed with art, music and games allow children to learn a new language in the appropriate context and have fun. Our nurturing curriculum aims to help children build real bilingual skills and strong intercultural understandings.
Our infant program is designed to provide each child with a feeling of warmth, confidence, and security. The schedule is very flexible to allow the teachers to spend quality time with each child. We believe that through this nurturing interaction, along with encouragement and lots of love, the children will experience a warmth that is essential to their growth and development.
Our young toddler program focuses on initial acquisition of basic self-help skills. The children will participate in open-ended activities where the process is stressed rather than the outcome. Through the use of interest areas, the children will experience dramatic play, singing, games, stories, manipulatives, and or projects along with various other activities. The children are encouraged daily in both indoor and outdoor activities with the inclusion of small and large group experiences.
Our older toddler class expands language development and to promote social participation in a group setting. The children are engaged in developmentally appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors with the inclusion of small and large group experiences. Vocabulary, reading, role play, math games, artistic explorations and emerging understanding of science are the key activities throughout the days.
Our Pre-School Room provides challenging activities designed to meet the individual needs of children during this active time of growth and development, in addition to promoting enthusiastic and receptive attitude toward school. By combining a diverse, academic program with a healthy, socially-oriented one, we strive to create a stimulating fun-filled day for the children. Within this room interest areas will also be used to engage the children in separate activities routinely. The children will participate daily in both indoor and outdoor activities with the inclusion of small and large group activities.
Our Before School Care includes relaxing activities to help prepare your child for their transition into their classroom.
Our After School Care includes a healthy snack, the start of homework, computer time, dramatic play, gross motor activities, table games, art activities, and quiet/reading areas. At the end of the day, your child will have had fun with their friends AND started their homework.
Our Summer Camp is offered to children who have completed Kindergarten through third grade. It consists of a full day program to accommodate working parent’s schedules. The CAMP is staffed with 2 counselors and can accommodate up to 15 children. There are many exciting activities planned throughout the entire summer to include a balance of interests that are educational, sports related, artistic and just plain FUN!!
