A First Foundation, LLC is a private practice that specializes in early childhood and in the prevention and remediation of reading and writing challenges, how learning differences impact children's self-esteem and how they affect the family system as a whole.
"Dr. T." specializes in early literacy, social-emotional learning, and behavior management for parents. She is trained in a variety of evidence-based programs and strategies that help children build the appropriate brain connections at a young age for the greatest impact on their success in school and in life. Through working with her, children gain academic success in literacy, enhance their self-esteem and confidence, and parents understand how to manage difficult behaviors that often coincide with learning differences such as dyslexia or ADHD. Dr. T. holds a doctorate in educational psychology, a master's degree in psychology, teaching certifications with concentrations in early childhood and structured literacy, and a credential as a qualified professional parenting educator.
