Sponsored Camp Fernwood
Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.
Camp Fernwood's 6.5 week, single-session program is intentional, allowing for friendships to form, independence and resilience to develop, and girls to fully immerse themselves in the complete camp experience.
Sponsored Camp Wood Haven
Discover a summer where confidence grows, friendships form fast, and every day feels like an adventure. Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania’s Camp Wood Haven is the kind of place where girls in grades 1-12 unplug from screens and plug into nature, creativity, and leadership in a way that feels exciting—not forced.
Imagine waking up in a tree house, Conestoga wagon, or Adirondack cabin to fresh air and birdsong, then spending the day exploring wooded trails, trying new outdoor skills, creating hands-on crafts, and laughing around camp with a supportive community. Camp Wood Haven overnight programs blend classic camp magic with purposeful growth, helping campers build independence, resilience, and teamwork while still having the time of their lives. Plus, Wood Haven is known for its top-quality equestrian programs!
Here, girls don’t just participate, they belong. With caring staff, age-appropriate activities, and an environment designed to build confidence, campers leave with more than memories. They leave with stronger voices, braver hearts, and friendships that last long after summer ends.
Ready to give her a summer she’ll never forget? Come to Camp Wood Haven - for all girls, not just Girl Scouts!

Chef Dad's Table
Chef Dad’s Table provides hands-on Vocational and Food Service Skills Training as well as Family and Consumer Science education to children and adults. Students enrolled in our classes learn to be savvy consumers and acquire kitchen skills that they carry with them throughout life. We educate about food insecurity with the hope that we can help alleviate this hardship that affects so many. We partner with houses of worship and work in the community to help those who are food insecure.
We do all this while making sure our classes are fun and our students enjoy themselves. We spend a lot of time tasting food and sampling our creations. Besides educating, our classes provide a warm and captivating opportunity for our students to build friendships and learn to work in teams. We have talented and knowledgeable instructors that work closely with and mentor our students. Our classes offer an inclusive opportunity for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We do offer scholarships and financial arrangements and we work with various organizations to facilitate donation drives.
Learning a skill set and having the necessary knowledge helps individuals make better informed and educated decisions that will affect their life. We want to help children, teens, and adults make great decisions regarding their Food, Family, and Consumer Science choices.
